“I thought together would better” installation, painting and lithography – Borges Cultural Center – 2018
They are not jars, they are not decorative objects; the armchairs exist or we are.
We interact with the armchairs.
I have an intimate look, I rejoice in it, I appropriate it.
The armchair is a place for dialogue, leisure, reading and gastronomy, for oneself or for sharing, why not sex?, dreams and frustrating fantasies.
A symbol of what we know to build and deconstruct as well.
I had forgotten about the chairs, benches, sofas, and many other objects we have to rest.
And of those blankets that we use for covering ourselves with tenderness, to preserve ourselves from that life that we already know what it is about.
