“Visualization of Waiting” – Espaço Corpus Christi – from 13.05 to 25.08.23
Always in front of the canvas, I am waiting for something extraordinary to happen, a hopeful waiting.
Some images in my paintings seem to be waiting. It doesn’t matter what they are waiting for, perhaps some sense of fullness and emptiness, all at the same time. An incessant search. Anxious.
Waiting is what it is all about.
So that in the end, something happens to our souls.
